Hey! I’m Kevin, the creator of fireproofdepot.com.
I initiated this blog to share my expertise and knowledge on firefighting, fire service and help out wannabe firefighters.
Why Fireproofdepot is a standout blog in the fire industry?
I have in-depth knowledge about the American fire service as I was a “Fire Capitan.” I retired from the post in 2018 and thought, why not share in decade-long experiences to build home-based firefighters. Shortly, if you wonder what the website’s motto is, “Make a safe nation by providing fire service education to all.”
I entered the fire department as a Deputy Fire Marshal, and since then I handled more than 5000 emergencies and got 10000 hours of fire fighting related training.
I could give a brief list of training and certification until 2021, but I won’t. Instead, I will share some training courses I have designed for different firefighting organizations. I’m an honorary member of some safety movement organizations until now.
- Advanced fire simulation
- Water Rescue and associated dangers
- Trench Rescue: 101
- Proper Breathing Technique: Basics to advanced
- Risk Reduction Technique & Strategies
- F.A.S.T: Firefighters Acts to Survive in Thrust
- Firefighting Basics
- Advanced firefighting for the battalion
- Airport fire safety: The know how
These are some of the modern courses I have designed for different organizations. But, hazard and emergencies are something that is not definitive, its changing over time.
The world is changing rapidly, and we need to be prepared for everything we may face in the future. So, this blog is not only for wannabe; it is essential for every living source. Basic firefighting knowledge will help protect your, your assets, and even other’s life when it will be at stake.
Now, I spend most of my time with this blog and my pets. However, I will be highly delighted if this blog helps you in any aspect of your life or career.
Also, don’t hesitate to ask me any questions and suggest which topic I should write about more.
I highly appreciate your time to look into my website. If you have any further questions click here for quick chat.
